Probation Supervision and Treatment

Probation is a sentence a convict receives when released from confinement but still under court supervision. A convicted person given probation supervision and treatment has some freedom on the condition that for a specified period, s/he must act in a manner approved by a special officer that he offender reports to.

Decision makers and stakeholders include the judge, treatment providers, probation representatives and offender – as well as the offender’s family.

These key decisions include:
